Terms of Service
Policy version: community-policy-2026-08-27 · Effective date: 2026-08-27 · Applies to: the SCENEDAM service
SCENEDAM provides content discovery, 5-star ratings, one-line reviews, opt-in public profiles, comments, and explainable recommendations.
Service Scope
Google and Apple sign-in, ratings, one-line reviews, editing, deletion, reporting, account review management, and optional community profiles are supported. A community profile can expose a chosen handle, display name, short bio, public taste tags, selected reviews, follower counts, and comments. Signed-in users can also receive deterministic, explainable recommendations based on their private watch states, ratings, and explicit preferences, with a ranking-based cold-start fallback. Advertising, paid placement, black-box ML inference, and payments are not included. Features may be added, changed, suspended, or removed when needed for safety, reliability, legal compliance, or product operation.
Community Participation
Public profiles are off until a user explicitly enables one. Follows, likes, and comments exist to add trusted context to choosing content; they are not ranking votes. Self-follow and self-like actions are rejected. A user can add one-level comments and edit or delete their comments. You can disable your public profile, unfollow another profile, or block another account. Disabling a profile clears public profile fields and follow edges while preserving private ratings, reviews, preferences, and library state. Its handle remains reserved and non-public while the profile is disabled. Re-enabling can reuse that handle or deliberately replace it; replacing it releases the previous reservation.
Recommendation Limits
Recommendation reasons describe product signals, not hidden personality or sensitive-attribute inference. Results can change as ratings, preferences, and 관심 없음 states change, and they are not a guarantee that a title will be enjoyable or currently available on a provider.
Availability
Provider information is an availability snapshot. It is not a real-time guarantee that a title can be watched on a provider at the moment you view it.
User-Generated Content Rules
Handles, display names, bios, ratings, one-line reviews, comments, report notes, and any other content submitted by users must be lawful, relevant, and safe. The following conduct and content are prohibited:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or praise and incitement of violence.
- Sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, or content that facilitates illegal or harmful acts.
- Doxxing or sharing another person's private, sensitive, or identifying information without permission.
- Impersonation, fraud, deceptive claims, spam, unsolicited advertising, phishing, malware, or malicious links.
- Copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights violations.
- Fake or coordinated ratings, automated review activity, review manipulation, or abuse of reporting tools.
- Deliberately evading spoiler labels, safety filters, account restrictions, or other product safeguards.
Moderation And Enforcement
SCENEDAM may automatically filter or hold submissions and may review user reports. Depending on severity, context, and repeat behavior, enforcement may include adding a spoiler warning, limiting distribution, hiding or removing content, restricting contribution features, suspending an account, or permanently terminating an account. Severe illegal-content or safety matters may be preserved and referred when required by law.
Users can report a review, comment, or public author in the app. Comments may be allowed, warned, spoiler-hidden, held for review, blocked, or deleted. Questions or appeals about moderation can be submitted through the support page; contacting support does not guarantee reversal.
